What to expect
I help clients get to the root cause of their health issues, ranging from hormonal issues, excess weight, poor sleep and anxiety, underactive thyroid and chronic UTIs to autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis.
Consultations are online, from the convenience of your home or office. This allows me to support clients nationwide.
Discovery Call
Your health journey starts with a FREE 20-minute call, to discuss your health concern and what you are looking to achieve. This will help us to decide which package would be most suitable for you.
Health Questionnaire
Prior to our first consultation, I will ask you to complete a detailed health questionnaire, covering your health history, current and past medications, medical test results and dietary and lifestyle habits, including a 3-day food diary. I review all of this before we have our first session. This means we can maximise the session time we have together.
Initial Consultation
During our initial consultation discuss your health goals, symptoms, health questionnaire and food diary in detail. I will explain what may be underlying your health issues, make some initial recommendations and may recommend functional or GP lab testing to give us a better understanding of what’s driving your symptoms.
Personalised Health & Lifestyle Plan
We will then work together, to create your initial personalised health plan based on your specific needs. This will be a collaborative process, taking into account your food preferences and lifestyle patterns, to ensure that your plan is realistic and achievable, and really works for you.
I’m a firm believer that healthy eating should not feel like a chore and meal times are enjoyable! You will receive your health plan, recipes, handouts, testing and supplement recommendations, and any referral letters, within 5 working days.
Health Coaching
Nutritional therapy addresses health concerns and imbalances, while health coaching helps you set achievable goals, create action plans, and overcome challenges. Together, these approaches empower you to make lasting changes and reach your health goals with confidence.
Follow-up Consultations
During follow-up consultations, we will review your symptoms, look at your progress you have made towards your health goals, how you have managed the recommendations, discuss any test results and make changes to your health plan as necessary.
Functional Testing
I like to use functional laboratory testing, where possible, to more accurately determine nutrient and biochemical imbalances, hidden infections, or food sensitivities that may be contributing to my client’s symptoms. This can help get to the root cause of their health issues more quickly and allows for more targeted nutritional programme.
Referral Letters
I will always aim to work alongside your GP and other medical professionals involved in your care, writing referral letters where necessary, to reach the best possible outcome for you.
Supplements
Whilst my approach as a nutritionist is always food first and supplementing should never replace a balanced diet, it can be very helpful in bridging nutritional gaps – and in some cases it is even necessary, at least for a while
Health Packages
I offer health packages, as opposed to one-off sessions, since working through specific health issues, implementing changes, and seeing results takes time, especially where clients have been struggling with health concerns for some time. Through regular check-in calls, and by integrating health coaching into my practice, I am able to offer guidance, support, and accountability, needed to implement dietary and lifestyle changes effectively.
